Consumer culture and the capitalist mindset have taught us to substitute acts of personal consumption (or enlightenment) for organized political resistance.” Yep, that goes for me too! There are plenty of activist groups out there working on many of the environmental and social justice issues that we are all concerned about. Choose one, support it in any way you can, and keep at it.
